9 th Peace and Emotional Literacy International Conference to be held in Kathmandu
Kathmandu. World Without Anger(WWA), Global Peace Foundation(GPF) Nepal and Samriddhi College, Lokanthali are jointly organizing two days 9 th International Conference. The conference is organized with the international partnership with EQ4Peace Worldwide Inc., USA and NationalAssociation Psychological Science (NAPS) India entitled “Global Peace through Emotional Intelligence Education (EQ/EI), Organization Management and Positive Psychology for Inner Peace, Business Success and A Better Life” to be held on 25-26 October 2019 in Kathmandu,Nepal at Samriddhi School/College, Balaju.
The overall theme of the conference is “Creating a Peaceful World Society through Emotional Intelligence, Business Success, Peace Education and a Better Life”. The emotional intelligence conference at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA in 2019 shares key strategies for using emotional intelligence to fuel the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals, so the world’s largest emotional intelligence project is building capacity for a future filled with wellbeing (SDGs). WWA’s 9th International Conference share in our desire to create a more peaceful world. EQ can teach us inner peace (within us), interpersonal peace (among us) and social peace (in groups, teams and families).
The conference will be divided into Opening session -1, Plenary Session-2, technical sessions-7, Disclosure cum Workshop session -1 and valedictory session-1 providing WWA’s the opportunity to focus on specific areas from their own perspective and national and international experiences. In the conference, 36 research papers are going to be presented from Nepal, India, Shrilanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, South-Africa, and United States of America.

WWA declares the winner 4 th The Dean of International Peace Prize(DOIPP), 2019. It is an outcome of a long struggle and hardship of the Dean of Peace, Dr. Dean Van Leuven, to set an example in the world that it is peace that everybody is in need of at this time of anxiety and tension. The person who deserves this award should be someone who has richly contributed in areas such as emotional literacy, peace/positive psychology, and psycho-social well being and people management anywhere in our world society.
