काठमाडौं। राष्ट्रपति विद्यादेवी भण्डारी आगामी बुधबार मित्र राष्ट्र म्यानमारको राजकीय भ्रमणमा जाने भएकी छन्। परराष्ट्र मन्त्रालयले सोमबार राष्ट्रपति भणडरीको पाँच दि ने राजकीय भ्रमणको कार्यक्रम सावर्जनिक गरेको हो।

राष्ट्रपति भण्डारी म्यानमारका समकक्षी यू वीन म्यून्तको मैत्रीपूर्ण निमन्त्रणमा त्यसतर्फ जान लागेको परराष्ट्र मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ। आगामी बुधबारदेखि आइतबारसम्म म्यानमारको राजकीय भ्रमण गर्नेछिन्।

म्यानमारमा रहँदा राष्ट्रपति भण्डारी र उनका म्यानमारका समकक्षी यू वीनबीच द्विपक्षीय वार्ता हुनेछ। राष्ट्रपति भण्डारीको सम्मानमा राष्ट्रपति यू वीनले रात्रिभोजको आयोजना गर्नेछन्।

त्यसपभि भण्डारी र म्यानमारकी स्टेट काउन्सिलर आङ साङ सूचीबीच पनि भेटवार्ता हुनेछ। यस्तै राष्ट्रपति भण्डारीले म्यानमारका ऐतिहासिक क्षेत्रकोसमेत भ्रमण गर्नेछिन् भने पिन ओ लिनमा नेपाली मुलका म्यानमारी नागरिकसँग पनि भेट्ने कार्यक्रम रहेको परराष्ट्र मन्त्रालयले जनाएको छ। यस्तै भण्डारीले म्यानमारको ऐतिहासिक शहर रंगुनको पनि भ्रमण गर्नेछिन्।

RightHonourable President Mrs. Bidya Devi Bhandari is paying a state visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar from 16 to 20 October 2019 at the friendly invitation of the President of Myanmar His Excellency U Win Myint.

During the visit, the Right HonourablePresidentwill hold bilateral talks with His Excellency President U Win Myint. Her Excellency Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor,will call on the Right Honorable President. The President of Myanmar will host a State Banquet in honour of the Right Honorable President of Nepal and her delegation.

During her stay in Myanmar, the Right HonourablePresident will meet thecitizens of Myanmar of Nepali origin in PyinOoLyin. She will visit Bagan, a UNESCO world heritage site.

The RightHonourablePresidentwill also visit Yangon. While in Yangon, she will visit places of historical and cultural importance.

The members in the delegation of the RightHonourablePresident include Minister for Foreign Affairs Honourable Mr. Pradeep Kumar Gyawali,Foreign Secretary, Secretary at the Office of the President and other high-ranking officials from the Office of the President and Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as media persons.
