काठमाडौं । ईङल्यान्डका फुटबलर जेमि वार्डीका पत्नीले आफु १२ बर्षको उमेरमा आफ्नै घरमा यौन शिकार भएको खुलासा गरेकी छन । ३८ बर्षीय रेवेख वार्डीले ईनस्टाग्राममा पोस्ट गर्दै उत्त कुराको खुलासा गरेकी हुन । रेवेखका अनुसार यौन शिकार भएपछि उनी घरबार बिहीन भएकी थिईन । उनकी छोरी मेगन अहिले १५ बर्षकी भएकी छिन । रेवेखले आफ्नो छोरीको लागी ईनस्टाग्राममा एक पोस्ट गर्दै भनिन, “मेरो छोरी अहिले सानी छिन तर म १५ बर्षको उमेर सानो थिईन ।”

उनले लेखिन, “१२ बर्षको उमेरमा मेरो आफ्नै घरमा मेरो यौन शोषण भईरहेको थियो । मेरो यौन शोषण गर्ने त्यही मानिस थिए जसलाई म सबैभन्दा बढी विश्वास गर्थे । मैले लाज, डर र रिसलाई नियन्त्रण गर्न औषधी र भोडकाको साहारा लिन्थे, केही महिनापछि म घरबार बिहीन भए । कोठाको पैसा तिर्न मैले बारमा गिलासहरु सफा गनुपर्यो ।” रेवेखको यो पोस्ट प्रति मानिसहरुले साहानभुति प्रगट गर्दै उनले एक महान काम गरेको प्रतिक्रिया दिएका थिए ।

रेवेखले आफ्नो छोरी मेगन संगै पुरानो तस्वीर पोस्ट गरेकी छिन । यो संग उनले आफ्नो बाल्यकालको तस्वीर पनि पोस्ट गरेकी छिन । ईनस्टाग्राममा उनका फ्लोअर्स हरुले उनी एक बाहादुर महिला संगै उनको बाहादुरीले यो समस्यामा रहेका युवती वा महिलाहरुले पाठ सिक्नुपर्ने बताएका छन ।

Yesterday my daughter turned 15 and I’m so happy that she is still a child ❤️ This may sound strange to some people but I know that it will resonate with others who didn’t get to be children for long enough. By the time I was 15 I wasn’t a child anymore and the year that I turned 15 was the year that my life really started to spiral out of control. From the age of 12 I had been being sexually abused in my own home by someone I had trusted. I had already taken an overdose of pills and vodka in an attempt to end the awful feelings of shame, fear and anger that I couldn’t find another way to escape from. I already hated myself. Just a few months later I was made homeless and ended up sleeping on sofas and collecting glasses in a pub to make enough money to allow me to rent a room in a B&B to live in – I was 15 and should still have been a child ? रेवेखका पति जेमि वार्डीले सन २००७ मा सिनियर फुटबलमा आफ्नो करियरको सुरुवात गरेका थिए । उनले सन २०१२ मा लेस्टर सिटीको लागि खेल्दै २६५ खेलमा ११९ गोल गरेका थिए । वार्डीले ईङलिश प्रिमियर लिगको यो सिजनमा २६ खेलमा १९ गोल गरेका छन । प्रिमियर लिगको कुल २०२ खेलमा उनले ९९ गोल गरेका छन । उनले सन २०१५ देखी ईङल्यान्डको लागि खेल्ने क्रममा २६ खेलमा ७ गोल गरेका छन ।
