काठमाडौं । कोरोना महामारीले गर्दा तीन महिना रोकिएको विश्वकै चर्चित फुटबल लिग प्रिमियर लिग बुधबारदेखि पुनः सुरु भएको छ । गत मार्च १० मा लेस्टर सिटीले एस्टन भिल्लालाई ४–० ले हराएयता प्रिमियर लिग स्थगित भएको थियो ।

खेलको पहिलो दिन बुधबार एस्टन भिल्ला र सेफिल्ड युनाइटेडबीचको प्रतिस्पर्धा गोलरहित बराबरीमा टुङिएको छ । खेलको सुरुवातमा खेलाडीहरुले कोभिड १९ बाट ज्यान गमाएकाहरुको नाममा १ मिनेट श्रद्धान्जली दिदै यो माहामारीको बिरुद्ध खटरहेका चिकित्सक तथा नर्सहरुलाई धन्यबाद दिएका थिए । साथै खेलाडीहरुले अमेरिकी प्रहरी हिरासतमा मारिएका अश्वेत नागरिक जर्ज फ्लोडप्रति एकजुटता देखाउ घुडा टेकेका थिए ।
